So how are we doing this week?
It’s ok if you’re not ok. I’m barely hanging on, truth be told. The weather is being weather, and we are under a pretty high level fire watch. Due to the drought conditions, the lack of precipitation, and the high winds, it’s pretty touch and go. The entire state is under a burn ban, and any fires that do pop up spread very quickly.
There are several active fires as of right now, and some of them aren’t contained. I’m just keeping an eye on the news and hoping that none of them come close to me. But there really isn’t anything I can do, other than be vigilant and not start fires outside.
We’re supposed to get some rain tomorrow, but it is doubtful that it will be enough to ease the current conditions. So we’ll just sit tight and do our best. I hope you do the same, and that your best is good enough!
