Lately I’ve been feeling kind of stuck and unmotivated. I know it’s because there is so much going on, but it made me think about what I do when I feel stuck. I thought about it a bit and decided to share it with you all.

Start Small
This is a time when go big or go home definitely does not apply. Instead, pick a little project and try it. If you do have to do a bigger thing, break it into smaller chunks and celebrate each of those tiny wins instead.
Designate a Time
This applies to both a specific time of day and a length of time. Maybe every day at 7 pm, you are going to set aside 10 minutes to do something crafty. You’ve made a commitment to yourself, and it’s a short enough time that it’s not overwhelming.
Play on Pinterest
If I’m feeling stuck creatively, I’ve found that Pinterest is a great way for me to get motivated. There are all kinds of projects to be found there, and something is bound to spark an idea in me. I often go down a rabbit hole of research and then suddenly I have a list of a million things I want to do.
These are just a few things I do if I’m feeling stuck or unmotivated. What kind of things do you do to get yourself out of a rut?
