Yet again, we’ve made it through another week! Give yourself a little pat on the back for surviving. There were times when it was tough for me, and I bet you had those moments too.

We’re working on the whole “low sodium diet” thing for Dad over here. I had no idea how much sodium was in everyday foods! We’re exploring ways to make some of our favorite meals, but it’s almost a full time job to figure it out. Dad really enjoys the ease of prepackaged and processed foods, and well…those are pretty much totally out because of the sodium levels. But if you make them yourself and do some ingredient swaps, you can still work on having them.
We had a mini meltdown in the grocery store, but we’re figuring it out day by day. Learning to read all the nutritional labels for every tiny thing has been an adventure. And he doesn’t have to go zero sodium, just lower sodium.
Onwards and upwards, we’re getting better every day!
